Our foundation
Taracell AG, formerly known as R. Meiers Söhne AG, was founded as Bienen Meier in 1898. Since 1950, the company has specialised in the development and process-controlled production of technical moulded components and transport packaging made from polystyrene, polyethylene and polypropylene foam. Taracell AG now supplies manufacturing and production companies in a wide variety of sectors around the world. Since 2015, this traditional Swiss company has been managed by Ms Schirm-Marzolf.
